The control over processes helps us feel confident and stable as well as achieve the predictability in production.
The control of the printing process does not begin at the moment of starting the printing machine filled with inks, plates and loaded with printing material. It actually begins at the moment of the first designer’s touch in the original layout. There exists a simple criterion used to rate the match level of our expectations about products design and printing equipment capabilities at the pre-press stage known as the digital screened color proof.
Color proof with the screening simulation, which uses an ICC profile of the printing system, allows determining the errors that are usually detected after the final printing, for example: wrong overprint, moire (occurs when several patterns overlap each other), errors in trapping, general view and color of areas printed in a secondary color (CMYK). This avoids the rejected material and additional cost for readjustment and it will fully justify time and money spent on color proof.
